Artland Katale FC were using Mashariki grounds as their home grounds in last year’s FUFA Big League before the financially stricken side was bought off by Kamuli Park in August this year.

After the buy off, Artland switched their grounds to Kamuli as Masharik was taken over by Simba FC.

And now, Artland visit Simba at this familiar ground with optimism to earn their second away victory, having defeated Kyambogo FC 3-2 for their only victory of the campaign.

Artland coach Andrew Mugaga believes his players left a lot of support at this venue and will almost be playing at home.

“Sometimes fans turn hostile when players turn to former clubs, but I know my players still have support around Entebbe who will give then support,” noted Mugaga.

Simba have won all their two home games, despite failure to register an away victory. Head coach Eric Ndifuna seeks to recover from 1-1 away draw against second placed Ndejje University as his side propels their Cinderella home run.

“We are set and not ready to lose our home record. We are not doing well away and so we must turn our home ground a no return valley,” noted Ndifuna.

The Hosts are 9th with 7 points after 6 games, one place above the Visitors who have played a game more.

Maroons and Ndejje have 14 points in top and second place respectively with the former that have played a game less leading with one goal difference.

In Rwenzori group, Nyamityobora FC seek to consolidate the summit with a likely win over struggling and injury hit Water FC this evening as Charles Ayiekho welcomes the side he managed from 2009-2012.
