Crane Bank Named Best Bank in Uganda

In recognition of its outstanding achievements towards the economic and social development not only in Uganda but also in the region (East Africa), Crane Bank-Uganda has continued to see more green light, in appreciation of its unique banking performance.

Early this week, the United Kingdom (UK) based Financial Times Publishers and organizers of the Banker’s Magazine-decorated Crane Bank, ‘Bank of the year-Uganda, 2015’

Banker’s Magazine-Bank of the year awards, is strictly given to banks in Africa, Asia and Europe, considering its respective range of initiatives undertaken throughout the year.

The award Crane Bank scooped is recognized by the World’s longest running international banks and is evidence to the strong management, sound business model and strategy of Crane Bank since its inception and in the last 12 months.

The bank’s development Manager, Sheena Ruparelia told Red pepper that, this is the 11th time Crane Bank is winning this same award.

According to the organizers, the award aims at promoting the banking industry with wide excellence in the global banking community.

The award ceremony was attended by chairperson Ruparelia Group of Companies, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, and his associates in UK-London,  Luke MacGreevy, Publisher-Middle East and Africa, Angus Cushley,  Michael Buerk (host), Brian Caplen (Editor, The Banker) among others.

Later on Thursday, Bank of the year award dinner was held at Hilton in London Bank side,

“Crane Bank managed to win the Banker’s Magazine, ‘Bankers Award 2015’, basing on its outstanding financial services being rendered to its esteemed customer throughout the year (2015). We hope to continue growing to serve and serving to grow,” Sheena said.
