Fresh Handling Shafts Air Force Football Club

Two weeks ago, the Entebbe Airport Stake holders’ league 2016 that comprise of 10 foot Ball Clubs with in the Airport came to an end with Fresh Handling Football Club smashing Brig. Gen. James Birungi’s Air Force Foot Ball club like cabbages!

Brig. Gen. Birungi is the Chief of Staff Air Force Command and CAA, and the Airforce Football club is a brain child of the force, according to Fresh handlers, the 2016 champions of the league, beating Gen.’s team to near pulp is indirectly beating the general, which is historic.

“We didn’t beat the players, we beat their coaches and the big boss,” a fresh handling player was heard boasting after the game.

To add salt into an injury, it’s the Brig Gen Birungi who had contributed 80% of the money that bought the bull for the winner thinking it was to be his team, but alas the bull was also taken alongside with the trophy by the champions-Fresh Handling, living the general in double trouble!

The final game that was played at Airport play ground that ended 1-0 in favour of Fresh Handling against Air force Foot Ball Club attracted Entebbe’s most gorgeous Babes who spend much of their time at Entebbe beaches with UN Airport workers and pensioners.

The league’s Chairman, Mr. Tom Byarugaba in an interview said among the objectives of the league was to promote sports and talents at work, corporate partnerships and improve fitness at work among others.

“People seat in offices and air conditioners from 8-5pm, they don’t do exercise, this can go a long way to help fight disease associated with lack of exercise like diabetes,” Byarugaba lectured.

The Chief Guest of the game, who is also Director of all Airports in Uganda and Civil Aviation Security Eng. John Tusubira Kagoro thanked all the participants of the league for their commitment and talents shown.

The clubs included Fresh Handling, CAA, DAS Handling Ltd, LAICO Hotel, Protea Hotel, Inflights Services, Uganda Clearing and Forwarders Association and Aviation Police FC.
