Ghana Wallops Uganda in CAF Beach Soccer
Sand cranes registered a 6-9 loss to Ghana Black Sharks in the first leg of the CAF Beach soccer qualifiers yesterday evening in Entebbe.
Uganda scored goals through Brian Nkuubi, team captain Derrick Tekwo, Roch Somoka and a Baker Lukooya brace to make it 6 but unfortunately it wasnt enough to save the Cranes
The Black Sharks who arrived late for the game managed to emphatically register a convincing away win from the Sand Cranes in a well attended match.
Mathew Lamptey and Lanky Striker gave the Sharks a lead after netting four times till and Michael Sema’s hatrick was the last blow for Uganda Cranes.
Alexander Adye and Isaac Ofori also appeared on the score sheet for the West African’s side.
With the second leg that will be held on 22nd March 2015, Uganda will need to triumph by a margin of 4 goals to be assured of a seat at the next month’s CAF beach soccer championships that will be held in Seychelles.
