City Tyres Chenga Challenge-Lira regional finals
Gulu Junior Academy won the opening regional qualifier of the 12th edition of the City Tyres Chenga U-14 football tournament held in Lira.
Besides bagging the trophy, Gulu Junior Academy also clinched the title that came forth with a cash reward of 700,000/= after beating Soccer Young Warriors 3 – 0 in the finals.
On top of producing the tournament’s most Valuable player, Ivan Ocen, Gulu Junior Academy also had the top Scorer, Denis Oloya Denis who scored 8 goals.
The next qualifiers will be held in Arua district this coming Saturday 24th May, 2014.
