How Equity Bank Uganda‘s Banking Without Borders’ Diaspora Caravan In Dubai Will Boost Banking, Investment Services

Equity Bank Uganda kicks off ‘Banking Without Borders’ Diaspora Caravan in Dubai at Landmark Plaza, Baniyas Square, and will run until Monday, October 20, 2025.

During this period, Ugandans residing in the United Arab Emirates will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of Equity Bank’s products and services designed to help them grow, save, and invest back home.

Equity Bank Uganda has launched the Dubai leg of its much-anticipated Diaspora Banking Caravan, a major outreach initiative aimed at delivering innovative and personalized financial solutions to Ugandans living and working abroad.

Operating under the theme “Banking Without Borders,” the Middle East Caravan is part of Equity Bank’s strategic commitment to deepen financial inclusion for Ugandans in the diaspora and to strengthen the bank’s relationship with its international customers.

The Dubai showcase is set to kick off today at Landmark Plaza, Baniyas Square, and will run until Monday , October 20, 2025. During this period, Ugandans residing in the United Arab Emirates will have the opportunity to explore a wide range of Equity Bank’s products and services designed to help them grow, save, and invest back home.

The engagement follows successful stops in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, where the bank’s delegation met hundreds of Ugandans working in various sectors.

Through these interactions, the team showcased Equity’s full portfolio of diaspora-focused services, including Diaspora Accounts, Equity Mobile Banking, investment advisory, property financing, and seamless remittance solutions connecting Uganda and the Middle East.

The dedicated team representing Equity Bank Uganda in the Middle East comprising Doreen Kiyanja, Ali Musisi, Bridget Namubiru, Damalie Balungi, and Patricia Nkinzi arrived earlier this month to lead engagements with the Ugandan community and connect them to opportunities back home.

The Dubai caravan will operate daily from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 15–16, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on October 17–18, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on October 19, and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on October 20.

Following the Dubai showcase, the caravan will continue to other international destinations as Equity Bank Uganda extends its reach and reaffirms its position as a trusted financial partner for Ugandans around the world.
