Appearing on NBS TV today morning, Tamale Mirundi applauded Ugandans who continue to identify him with his magniloquence.

“I want to thank those who have supported me, especially media houses that choose to host me and members of the public continue to identify with my rhetoric because I often say what many think but fear to say,” he said.

He said those who want him blocked from radio and TV stations do not understand what makes him tick.

Mirundi lashed at those who want to be hosted with him on TV arguing that they want to ride on his popularity.

“Those seeking my media blackout include media houses that never host me. They need to understand what makes me tick,” he said, “Why do you want to ride on my popularity (those who demand debates with him)? Book your own talk-show time.”

Mirundi said Independent presidential candidate Amama Mbabazi is smart and uses government institutions while fighting him.

“Mbabazi is smart. He uses government institutions to fight me so that it seems like President Museveni is the one fighting me.”

He also said that Mbabazi uses people at every stage. “Where is Niringiye, Poor Youth & now Mao? Museveni listens and respects people.”

He said Museveni is campaigning on his own and he doesn’t need anyone to rally on his behalf.

Mirundi said Museveni operates mysteriously.
