A Kampala woman’s life was turned upside down when she discovered her husband, Farooq Isabirye, was in a secret same-sex relationship with city socialite and car dealer Moses Wamboga.

The revelation came after she found love messages on Farooq’s phone, leading to a heated argument and intervention from local authorities.
Farooq’s wife told our snoops of how she expressed shock, feeling deceived and heartbroken, having never suspected her husband’s sexuality.
Speaking to our reporter, the wife said: “Everything was perfectly normal, we were really happy, he was a great guy, funny, we had lots in common, intellectually we were a really great match. It was my dream come true.”
The suspicion and fear are palpable, with rumors circulating that many seemingly married couples are secretly involved LGBT relationships.
The exposure of Moses and Farooq’s affair has turned the issue of secret same-sex relationships into a common conversation, creating a sense of unease in households across the country with some people being more prejudiced about handsome men being number one suspects.

One anonymous source close to Farooq’s wife narrated her heartbreak that she informed the Local council that she was devastated, worthless and had never imagined her husband could be living a double life.
The love message she found was the last thing she expected. With resolve in her voice, she said all the options were on table including seeking justice through the anti-homosexuality law. She said; “I have reported the case to LC and police but I do not wish to disclose more because that would lead to corruption of officials.”
“I cannot take it in, I have been very enduring and submissive and while I was jealous of girls around Farooq. I always saw Moses Wamboga as my husband’s best friend and respected him so much. Of course Moses is an attractive man with a toned physique. He has a muscular build and striking features, chubby, chiseled looks, athletic body, well built and generally a handsome individual. But I could never imagine that my husband would be attracted to him for that instead of women. Everything I thought that I knew was a lie,” she tearfully added.
The revelation has not only destroyed Farooq’s marriage but also aroused tension. Under Uganda’s strict anti-LGBTQ+ laws, the relationship is not just a scandal—it is considered a criminal act.

The incident highlights Uganda’s strict anti-LGBTQ+ laws, where homosexuality can lead to life imprisonment.
Ugandan tabloids have been quick to sensationalize the story, with headlines focusing on the clandestine nature of the relationship.
“This has set off a chain reaction,” a local journalist commented.
“People are now questioning their partners, snooping through phones, and even hiring private investigators. Everyone is on edge, wondering if they could be the next Farooq or Moses.”
As the drama continues to unfold, Moses and Farooq remain silent, facing not only public humiliation but also potential legal action given the fact that both are married people yet into LGBTQ acts. Their lives, and the wider Ugandan public, are now engulfed in a tense climate of suspicion and fear.
For now, all eyes are on Wamboga and Farooq, and the fallout from this scandal that has taken Uganda by storm. Will this revelation lead to deeper conversations about LGBTQ+ rights, or will it push the country further into paranoia and repression?
Only time will tell.
The reports come at the heels of music mogul Sean Combs Diddy scandal that has shocked the world after it emerged that he was also into men and women at the same time.
