KCC FC Kicked Out of CAF Champions League

Cosmos De Bafia (Cameroon) 3-0 KCC FC (Uganda)

Aggregate Score: Cosmos De Bafia  3-1 KCC.

Uganda representatives in the CAF Champions’ league, Kampala City Council (KCC) Football Club have been eliminated from this year’s championship after losing to Cameroon opposition, Cosmos De Bafia 3-0 on Sunday.

This was during the return leg clash played in the Cameroonian town of Doula in the return match of preliminary round.

Francis Tombi Alemi  scored a double before Cyrille Ekamba sealed Cosmos De Bafia’s victory and qualify 3-1 on aggregate to the first round.

KCC traveled to Doula with a one goal lead after striker Herman Wasswa had scored  at Namboole two weeks ago.

Last year, KCC managed to skip the preliminary round after ejecting Sudanese giants, El Merriekh F.C before they were eliminated at the first round stage by Zambia’s Nkana FC.

URA is Uganda’s only remaining representatives on the continent as they edged Madagascar’s ASSM Elgeco Plus 4-2 on aggregate.
