KCCA Face South Sudan’s Atlabara in Quarters| Kagame Cup

Uganda league champions Kampala Capital City Authority FC play in must win CECAFA Kagame Cup quarter final against South Sudan’s Atlabara FC on Tuesday at the Nyamirambo Stadium in Kigali after progressing as Group B winners.

George Best Nsimbe’s KCC set up the tie against the South Sudanese champions coached by former Cranes assistant coach Leo Adraa courtesy of Steven Bengo’s in swinging free kick midway through the second half during a 1-0 victory over APR in the final group B game on Sunday.

Just before KCC take to the field, Rwandan arch rivals Rayon Sport and APR will face off in the key highlight of the tournament before another Rwandan side, Police FC, yet to lose a game and with a prolific attack, will take on Burundi’s Atletico Olympic in the second quarter final clash on the same day and at the same venue.

KCCA then enter the fry before Tanzanian champions Azam FC will take on Sudanese bigwigs El Merreikh in the last quarterfinal game.

Thursday 21 August will be a rest day then the semi final clashes take place on Friday 22 August at the Amahoro Stadium.
