KCCA Fan Banned from AUPL Games for 1yr

KCCA FC fan nemed Katanguli Middu has been banned from from all AUPL matches for 365 days.

This comes after he thumped the referee as KCCA played Kirinya Jinja SSS FC on Tuesday 11th October 2016 at Bugembe Stadium-Jinja

“KCCA FC fan by the names of Katanguli Middu physically attacked match officials and punched the centre referee. He was responsible for the chaos that ensued,” read the statement signed by Bainamani Bernard Bampaire the CEO-UPL.

“Katanguli Middu has been declared persona non grata at AUPL matches for three hundred sixty five (365) days from all AUPL matches from the date of this communication as per Article 34(6) of FUFA Competitions Rules.”

Regarding the same match, Kirinya Jinja S.S.S FC has been fined Three hundred thousand shillings for violent conduct of their fans.

The fine is to be paid to the UPL Secretariat by Friday 28th October 2016 as per Article 33(2)(b) of FUFA Competitions Rules.
