Grace Suguti a wife to a Kenyan Judicial boss survived death by a whisker after she was attacked by heavily armed Ugandan robbers.
The goons attacked her while at her Patto Bar and Restaurant in Eldoret and snatched money before heading to Kampala.
Grace Suguti a wife to Patrick Cheye an administrator with the Kenyan Judicial services told the media at Kampala central police station that the armed robbers attacked her on January 28 while at her Restaurant in Eldoret and tied her up before taking off with items like company computers, phones, laptops and her newly acquired Toyota Alliom registration number KBY 328B worth Ksh1.35/= (Shs44million).
Suguti said the robbers tied her together with all her all employees before taking all the valuables at at the restaurant.
Herman Owomugisha, commander Flying Squad unit told the media that they got information from one of the garages in Ndeeba that a new car suspected to have been stolen was being dismantled for spare parts.
Flying squad rushed, seized the garage and arrested the owners of the car that was being dismantled for spare parts.
They later discovered that the car had Kenyan number plates.
The flying squad boss also said they contacted Interpol Uganda that contacted their Kenyan counterparts who helped in tracing the real owners of the car.
Owomugisha said the suspected robbers who were found in possession of the car were also arrested but did not divulge their details saying that it would jeopardize with police investigations.
