Laptops Bonanza Excite Victoria University Students

Victoria University which aims at establishing exemplary, specialized and employment-oriented education has once again resumed with its policy of giving out free laptops to its new students in a bid to motivate their students academically.

While handing over the laptops to the new students, the university Vice Chancellor, Dr. Stephen Robert Isabalija disclosed that, since they aim at producing dynamic, self-motivated, and innovative students; through teaching them highly demanded courses such as; Certificates in Oil and Gas, Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery, Primary Basic Health Care, Bachelor’s degrees in; Journalism and Mass Communication, Business management and administration, accountancy, among others, they thought it wise to donate free laptops to enable their students catch up with their research with ease.

“We want to empower our students academically because the world has now gone hi-tech and research would be difficult that’s why we decided to give all our committed new students with laptops so that access to information, with the current technological advancement, becomes easy for them,” Isabalija said.

Isabalija also added that, Until they reach their dream of molding Victoria University become  a leading learning institution in the region, they will continue nurturing their students be become critical thinkers and exposing them to education that will provide  them immediate support throughout their studies.

Victoria University is ranked among the top ten best universities in the country with many international affiliations including IP3, fully certified by the National Council for Higher Education, with a first class air conditioned lecture rooms, state of art computer laboratory, Library, Clinical skills Lab and Simulation, Students-lounge with five star ambiance, among others.
