Following reports that the league title would be handed over to Liverpool after just 29 games, 25 points clear at the top of the English Premier League because of the suspension of the league due to Coronavirus, UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin has come out  to clear the air and dismissed the reports as fake
“I have seen and heard some again fake news that UEFA will advise leagues to finish the championships now and decide that the winners are the ones who are at the top now, I can say that it is not true. Our goal is to finish the leagues and we didn’t recommend anything like that to any association or league”, he said.
Jurgen Klopp’s side is just two wins away from securing their first Premier League title in 30 years.
UEFA also announced that Euro 2020 will be postponed until next summer following discussions that were held Tuesday morning.
