LOVE TWIST! Sharp UCU Student Dumps Campus Babe, Proposes to Lecturer

Love, betrayal, and campus drama have exploded at Uganda Christian University Bishop Barham University College in Kabale after a student ditched his fellow student lover and went straight for his lecturer—then sealed it with a surprise proposal!

Agenze Rominate Owomugisha, the Head of Department of Education at the university, is now officially off the shelf after being swept off her feet by her own student.

The man at the center of the storm is Medard Mugumya, a Kiswahili student at the same institution, who stunned the campus when he went down on one knee and proposed to the 36-year-old lecturer in a dramatic surprise engagement.

But this was no overnight love story.

Sources reveal the two had been secretly seeing each other for months, keeping their relationship under wraps while Mugumya publicly maintained a romance with another student.

That other student, identified as Vallene, was reportedly Mugumya’s known girlfriend on campus. The two were seen as a “hot couple” around Rugarama Hill, where the university sits—until things took a shocking turn.

Trouble reportedly began when Vallene introduced Mugumya to her lecturer—unaware she was unknowingly connecting her boyfriend to the woman who would later take her place.

From there, the story spiraled.

Mugumya allegedly grew closer to Owomugisha behind the scenes, and what started as quiet interactions soon turned into a full-blown secret affair.

Then came the ultimate betrayal.

In a move that has left tongues wagging across campus, Mugumya organized a surprise engagement party for Owomugisha—completely catching her off guard.

Witnesses say the moment was emotional and dramatic as he dropped to one knee and proposed, officially taking their once-secret relationship into the spotlight.

The news hit Vallene like a bombshell.

Heartbroken and humiliated, she reportedly turned to social media to vent her frustration, posting a video on TikTok expressing her disappointment after losing her man to her own lecturer.

Now, what started as whispers has turned into one of the most talked-about campus scandals in Kabale.

Despite the controversy, Mugumya and Owomugisha appear unbothered and are moving full speed ahead with their plans.

The couple is set to walk down the aisle in May 2026.

From lecture halls to love triangles, this is one campus story that has left many asking:

Was it love—or a lesson gone too far?
