Magogo Commends Blatter

Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) president, Moses Magogo has come out to commend the FIFA president Joseph Sepp Blatter for his endless role in the development of football world wide.

While at a weekly press conference held at the federation’s head offices, FUFA House-Mengo on Thursday morning, Magogo commended the 17 year serving FIFA boss for being a favorite and a reason why football on the African continent has developed up to the current podium.

Magogo explained that his executive took the decision to vote for Blatter for the support FIFA has extended to Uganda.

“It is inhuman to say Blatter did nothing at seeing football develop mostly in countries that have poor economies especially in Africa and Asia,” Magogo stated.

Moses Magogo, who voted in favour of Blatter for his fifth term in the recently held FIFA elections in Zurich, warned and predicted a hard task for a would be successor to his ally.

He went ahead to say that before Sepp Blater’s reign in world football back in 1998, the federation of Uganda football association (FUFA) head offices were at Lugogo in a single room they shared with Uganda Olympics Council plus Uganda Boxing Federation a reverse to the current as the federation owns its official home a success through the current FIFA development fund project.

Sepp Blatter stepped down from 4 days after being re-elected to serve FIFA for a fifth term.
