Massa Backs Cranes To Shine At CHAN

South Africa-based Geoffrey Massa has tipped Uganda to shine at the CHAN because they will play on good football pitches at the tournament.

Former Yenicami player in Northern Cyprus  said Uganda are blessed with abundant talent but lack good pitches in the country have often limited them from playing to their full capacity.

“Uganda have a lot of good players and I see them doing well in CHAN in January. The good pitches in South Africa will make the team do well, we lack those in Uganda,” said the Amatuks striker.

“Am definitely going to be in South Africa by then, I will be there to support them from the stands,” he told Red Pepper Online sport on Sunday.

The Cranes, who are currently undergoing residential training and might have one friendly match, plan to travel to South Africa on January 9. The tournament that starts on January 11 is designed exclusively for players in domestic leagues.
