Celebrated NTV news anchor, Nancy Kacungira has quit the Serena based NTV.
According to an insider at the TV station, Nancy handed in her resignation letter today morning.
Nancy is believed to have secured a juicy job at Kenya Television Network, a member of Standard Digital Media.
Nancy is not the first presenter to quit NTV this year, in the past few months, Justine Nameere the NTV Life Stories presenter also threw in a towel.
The untimely resignation of Nancy has already sparked off debate on social media.
One identified as Ruth Aine, tweeted that Nancy is too talented to be employed by local based media companies.
Nancy Kacungira worked on Power FM before Joining NTV in October 2012.
She holds a degree in Design and Visual Communications from Makerere University and a Masters degree in Communication and Media Studies from the university of Leeds UK.
She will now join Uganda’s Joy Doreen Biira who quit NBS TV for KTN in January 2012.
