Nigeria’s DJ Flava To Rock Venom

Malaysian based DJ Flavor is in the country and ready to rock Ugandans at tomorrow’s Playboy Easter showdown bonanza to be held at the Kabalagala based Club Venom.

“DJ Flava is already here and he is set to spin the discs tomorrow,” said Gareth Onyango the club Manager.

Jagun Adetola Azeez popularly known as DJ Flava hails from Ogun State in Nigeria. Born and raised in Lagos Nigeria, DJ Flava has four siblings and happens to be the last.

His passion for music and entertainment started from a tender age and grew stronger to become part of his life, Hence his slogan “Music is Life”.

Through listening to popular Nigerian Radio Stations, he developed a keen interest in becoming a disc jockey which he achieved after educating himself with disc Jockey tutorials.

In 2000, he moved to London to play professionally where he was noted as one of the best Mobile DJ in South East London.

Haven been in the UK for years eight years, demand for a quality DJ saw him move to Kuala Lumpur the capital of Malaysia .

His unique style was quickly noticed and his fan base grew fast putting him at a top spot.

In his early days in Malaysia, DJ Flava was seen playing in popular clubs around the city amongst which includes Long Bar, Play House, Vogue The Club, Hq Club, Club 11:45, The Palace Club at Sheraton Imperial Hotel, Helo bali , Titanium among others.

He has also featured in various events and worked for various Entertainment companies in Malysia at concerts with D’Banj, Banky W, Wizkid, Side One, Iyanya, Flavour Na Bania, Wande Coal, Oriste Femi, Naeto C, Kas, Olamide, Kcee, Bunra Boy, Kelly Handsome, Terry G, 2face Idibia, 9ice, NiggaRaw, Duncan Mighty, Durella, Diamond [Tanzania] Wyre [East Africa], M.I, Jesse Jag, Ice Prince & Brymo Davido and a host of others.

This unique entertainer, enjoys playing all kinds of music from Hip-Hop, Old School, Afro beats music, R&B, house, reggae ton and this took him to UGANDA in early 2013 for the AZONTO CARNIVAL held in Kampala, UG which was one show everyone who attended talked about for months and responded for his return.
