Red Card Campaign To Scoop Social Media Award

Uganda Breweries Limited’s Red Card to Drunk Driving campaign has been nominated for best social media campaign set to take place at Golf Course Hotel this Saturday  


The campaign which was launched in December last year is aimed at creating awareness about the dangers of drunk driving as part of the initiative taken by Uganda Breweries Limited in partnership with the Uganda Police Force and partner bars to promote responsible drinking amongst the company’s product consumers.

Irene Ntale, the campaign ambassador also released a song titled “Think of me” which has so far registered over 4,702 online downloads since its release in January this year.

Uganda Breweries Limited will be up against MTN, Airtel, RAHU and UHMG in the best campaign category.

The awards are expected to be headlined by the Nigerian music sensation Tiwa Savage who according to the organizers will jet in this Friday.
