Uganda Cup Round Of 16 Draws Held

The draws for the Uganda Cup round of 16 draws were held yesterday at the Federation of Uganda Football Association offices at FUFA House, Mengo a Kampala suburb.

While addressing the media, Magogo commended Lower League Clubs for their energetic performances against top flight clubs in the last preliminary rounds on round of 64 and 32 respectively.

FUFA competitions Secretary and Head of the IT Ali Mwebe presided over and headed the proceedings for the draws.

In the draws, 2008/2009 Cup winners SC Villa will face Big League side Proline FC at the Nakivubo stadium.

At the Wankulukuku stadium, Lweza FC will host CRO while Bright Stars are to travel to Zombo district to play Paidah Black Angels at the Bar Okoro stadium.

Kyambogo FC an intimidating side after relegating Vipers FC will play Sadolin FC

Police FC are to meet Rwenzori Big League side Bazza Holdings while the winner between KCCA and Defending Champions URA FC will have to tussle it out with Ndejje University.

Date for the fixture is to be announced later.
