Uganda Premier League Clubs Agree To Play Planned Matches

The 16 Elite clubs playing in the Uganda Premier League (USL) have resolved to abandon the planned suspension of league matches and continue with the fixtures as scheduled.

Clubs had last week decided to suspend play in the League after Fufa suspended their Chairman, Abbas Kawaase and withdrew the mandate of the Fufa Super League (FSL) to manage the League.

But, in a meeting held last night, at Serena Hotel, Kampala, the clubs with members of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (Fufa), the clubs resolved to have the matches played while they await further discussions with the FA on Monday.
