Last week, Startimes introduced this channel after writing to all musicians that were interested in submitting their videos.

The statement read: “Face TV Uganda calls upon all artistes who would like their videos to play on our channel to come and submit their content to the station. All artistes in Uganda are welcome to the station.”

The show at Serena was well attended by both upcoming and well established musicians including Bobi Wine, Cindy, Winnie Nwanje, Nutty Neithan and Khalifa Aganaga who entertained the invited guests.

The smiley Chairman of performing arts in Uganda, Andrew Benon Kibuuka noted that for so long, Ugandan music had lacked a clear platform for its promotion noting that his association will support Startimes and Face TV because they have shown the love  for Ugandan Music.

Face TV is currently airing on Star times on Channel 102 on Nova Bouquet.

Adriane Nsubuga, the man who has changed the appearance of Startimes in Uganda revealed that there are so many talented Ugandans however they have had several challenges especially taking their music to other local stations to be aired.
