Vodafone Moves To Scrap Unlimited 4G Data


Telecom giants Vodafone Uganda is in the process of removing the unlimited data package.

This was revealed by the company in a tweet while responding to a query by a one, Kirabo Byabashaija on Wednesday.

“Hey, so is it true you will not longer be offering unlimited 4g data. Anyone clarify this?” Kirabo asked.

In response, the company revealed, “We are in the process of phasing out the unlimited plans and will soon introduce new and exciting Products to replace them.”

Vodafone Uganda is part of the Vodafone family, the world’s second largest mobile telecommunications company and one of the most valuable brands in the world.

As part of its launch, Vodafone Uganda announced the launch of unlimited data plans which was targeted at the business and individual customers.

Offering unlimited data plans for the consumer market is a first in the Ugandan market.

Price for the monthly unlimited plan starts from only shs149,000 per month that is less than shs5,000 per day

For this price, customers can enjoy unlimited downloads, surfing and streaming at great speeds. This introductory offer will be available for a limited period only.
