Katikiro Ready To Reconcile Lukwago, Musisi
KCCA ED Jenifer Musisi and Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago have failed to find working chemistry ever since the authority's inception.
Buganda Kingdom premier Charles Peter Mayiga has expressed his willingness to mediate the row between Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director Jennifer Musisi and Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago since they are all ‘Kabaka’s children’.
Mayiga made this revelation on Monday morning while addressing the Kingdom’s Lukiiko (parliament).
Since its inception, KCCA leaders Musisi and Lukwago have failed to find a good working relationship with each accusing the other side of sabotage.
“Erias Lukwago and Jennifer Musisi are both Kabaka children so they can come to me for advice” Mayiga said.
Lukwago and Musisi all hail from Buganda Kingdom.
Mayiga advised all parties involved in the wrangles at KCCA to respect the rule of law saying “All issues regarding the Lord Mayor should be lawfully handed. Lets respect decisions of courts”
Last month, Erias Lukwago was controversially impeached by KCCA councilors in a meeting chaired by Kampala Minister Frank Tumwebaze. However, a court ruling quashed the decision.
The Katikiro also expressed his sympathy for those who lost property last week when fire gutted the Nakivubo Park Yard market in Kampala.
Mayiga also warned those whose intention is to steal money meant for the reconstruction of Kasubi tombs saying he ‘Will arrest and publicly shame them’.
The Kingdom is currently involved in a fundraising drive to collect money for the reconstruction of the historic Kasubi tombs that got burnt 3 years ago.
“Anybody who steals Kabaka money I will arrest and publicly shame them” Mayiga warned.

What are you up to? who is Mussi to Lukwago? How can one reconcile people without same goals or interests? Mussi is a cleaner used by her Boss to hit Lukwago so will that make sense to reconcile a cleaner with her Boss?. The best would be I am ready to talk to Mussi to stop or not to allowed being used by corrupt and evil officals.
Reconciliation for lukwago and Musisi is not required instead people who reach Museveni should tell him to desist from fueling wars in Kampala by supporting Musisi to bother the duties mandated for Lukwango.
