Juliana Reveals why she snubbed Jazz Safari event

Musician Juliana Kanyomozi has finally come out to explain to her music fans and entire nation why she decided to pull out of the Soul and RnB Safari Uganda Baileys Picnic event that was set to happen at Club Guvnor in May.
In a statement posted on her social media pages, the gorgeous singer pulled out of the event due to “gaps in alignment between the parties involved.”

While speaking to a local TV station, Juliana Kanyomozi clearly explained all her reasons she had to pull out of the event.
She said that her decision to pull out was made when the event turned out to be a big concert with ticket sales, contrary to what she had earlier been told that it was to be a private invite-only event.
While booking my services they told us something differed from what they started advertising. I was called and told the event was a small invite-only function of about 200 people and wanted me to perform about 4 to 5 songs. I was asked to go for a press conference However, upon reaching the press conference, we realised that it wasn’t a private event anymore and it had turned into a big concert. There were tickets being sold at Shs120k.
At the end of the presser, my manager contacted the organizer because it didn’t make sense to making a scene at the presser.
My manager had back and forth conversations with their team, requesting them to change the posters to what we had agreed upon but they refused. So we sent out the post (on Instagram) after deciding and tellingthem that we had pulled out of the event- part of what Juliana said
Last week , Jazz Safari boss Shaka Mayanja maintained that despite Juliana’s withdrawal, the event must go on and he will be revealing other artistes set to perform.
The organizers of the event, Jazz Safari, wondered why Juliana had pulled out and not informed them, but opted for social media.
Shaka claimed that they were not given a chance to solve the said “gaps in alignment” and were just as shocked to see a statement on Juliana’s social media platforms.
