Latest info from the corridors of the Serena Hotel based television station is that another senior staff, Moses Akena has thrown in the towel in search for greener pastures.

According to sources, Akena is said to be headed for greater things at the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague.

Akena has been the station’s reporter in Northern Uganda but was later transferred to Kampala.

Although it remains undisclosed what he will be doing at the ICC or how much he will be pocketing, Akena will have a number of benefits including fully paid holiday trips, air tickets, medical, life and travel insurance among others.

It’s believed that Akena caught the attention of the head prosecutor Fatou Bensouda during her visit to Uganda early this year with his reporting skills pertaining matters of war crimes committed by Joseph Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA).

On the other hand we have also learnt that rival television NBS has also snatched NTV Uganda’s northern reporter.
