The three acre play ground is found in Kayiriki zone along Villa Road in Nyendo-Ssenyange division. In 2010/2011 financial year, Nyendo Ssenyange division spent over 50million shillings to clear the land to establish the play ground and community hall for hire to boost local revenue collection.

However, recently Saddress Twinomucunguzi, a local businessman fenced off the play ground claiming that he had acquired it. On Wednesday, officials of Masaka Municipality led by the Mayor Godfrey Kayemba rushed to the disputed land to investigate how Twinomucunguzi acquired it.

Twinomucunguzi presented documents proving that he bought the land from Edward Ssekandi, the vice president. However, Masaka municipality is in position of documents that show the land belongs to Nyendo-Ssenyange division.

Twinomucunguzi insists that despite the fact that Nyendo-Ssenyange division has documents showing the land belongs to it; they bought the land from the Vice President. Twinomucunguzi and his wife Ritah Twinomucunguzi have set up a nursery bed on the former play ground.

Ritah Twinomucunguzi says that before she entered into a transfer agreement with the Ssekandi, she consulted Emmanuel Gakyaaro, the Town Clerk Nyendo-Senyange division who endorsed the deal. Twinomucunguzi, who speaks broken Luganda says she is ready to sue the municipality should it encroach on her land.
