Ginnello's Pizzeria Entebbe Named The Uganda's Best Restaurant

Entebbe based famous eatery, Ginnello’s Pizzeria has been named the best in Uganda at The Face Of Entebbe (FOE) Community Awards 2022/2023, which took place Flight Motel in Entebbe.

The face of Entebbe Awards recognizes individuals and organizations that have made positive contributions to the country’s face, Entebbe Municipality, once the seat of government for the Protectorate of Uganda prior to independence, in 1962 and location of Entebbe International Airport, Uganda’s largest commercial and military airport.

Located at Bugonga Mugwanya road- Kitooro before flight motel, in Entebbe, Ginnello’s Pizzeria emerged the best restaurant of the year because of exceeding their customers’ expectations with their fresh and delicious pizzas, ingredients and service.

The place offering a comfortable inside and outside setting for your family and friends uses the best ingredients on the market which makes their pizza desirable and loved by customers has also added a brick on growing Uganda’s Tourism.

Mr Haruna Magala , the head chef and proprietor of Ginnello’s Pizzeria said ; “It’s humbling, and I am filled with gratitude,” he said about the achievement.

“Every day since opening of Ginnello’s Pizzeria I’ve had the dream to pursue this work without compromise. We’ve been so blessed to be able to do this and continue to learn and grow as a pizzeria and as pizza makers’’, Haruna added.

Speaking to this reporter, one of the customers who preferred anonymity said Ginnello’s Pizzeria is “definitely the most influential restaurant of its generation, setting new standards in terms of research and ingredient sourcing, dish development and presentation”.
