Chan 2014: Micho Drops Three

Coach Micho has government through the Ministry of Education and Sports to stop the bureaucracy and act quickly to release the logistical funds for the preparations.

Uganda Cranes coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has ruled out has dropped three players ahead of the return leg of the 2014 CHAN qualifier against Tanzania on July 27.
The Serb assisted by Police FC tactician Sma Timbe, Kefa Kisaala and Fred Kajoba dropped Proline FC striker Wiliam Wadri, SC Villa’s Ronald Muganga and Express FC skipper Willy Kavuma preffering to invite young defender Ibra Kizza, who plays with Victors F.C and Kira Young’s Lawrence Nduga as the team starts residential training on Monday.

The Cranes carry a slim 1-0 lead after shocking the Taifa Stars last Saturday at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
Micho who had earlier explained that after making nine additions to the team he also had to spend lots of time to working on the players’ fitness levels and strategy.
“The strategy and tactical approach we employed in the first leg was perfect and we need to map out another tactic which will work for the return leg because I am aware the visitors will have nothing to lose, but come and attack from the word go,” added the coach.

Attacking midfilders- Kyeyune Saidi, Mpande Joseph, Kemba Aziz (Bul) and, Nsumba Augustine (URA), Nduga Lawrence (Kira Young)
