Nsimbe was speaking in an exclusive interview with RedPepper Online edition on Monday as his side prepared to face highflying Jinja side BIDCO on Tuesday in the FUFA Super League at Lugogo.

KCCA FC is currently in sixth place on the FUFA Super League log with six wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats.

“Of course I will be here all season and ofcourse until my contract runs out.”

“Losing to Proline last week and a number of other poor string performances does not mean the coach losing the job,” he said.

Kamada Ssebagala’s second half goal for Proline FC was enough to sink defending champions KCCA  in a FSL encounter played last Tuesday  at the Lugogo Stadium.

“Obviously I would have preferred to win all the games and have a comfortable lead but if you look at our fixtures this seaon so far, we have played matches minus a couple of our key players and we were still able to get the results,” Nsimbe added.

“We need to make good use of our home advantage and get back to winning ways after our recent loss.”

He went on to say that next games they will be better.

“We will reflect on our performance this season and see where we went wrong before the next games come especially the fact that we have to play the African Champions league.”

The league defending champions have been faced with a player exodus with star players Herman Wasswa unceremoniously departing for semi-professional stint in Vietnam and Hassan Wasswa Mawanda, also requested to go for trials in Qatar, but reportedly ended up signing a contract with a team in Vietnam.Full back Tony Ndolo is on suspension for misconduct while winger Brian Majwega continuous to miss training and a couple of players may face wage cuts over poor performances.

But Nsimbe continues to exude confidence despite his job being in balance.

“These are things we have to overcome and get better at it and try to win our games,” the soft-spoken tactician says.

“We have a great squad of players, with a number of capable replacements who I believe can do the job for us.

“I was not told officially by the player or club and this has really angered me,” said Nsimbe of the departures

“But i think we should not cry over their departures and suspensions because we have other guys who are equally as hungry and determined to come in and do well for the team. The spirit in the camp is very good; the attitude in the group is great and that is what I need in the team.”

On Africa challenge

KCCA have embarked on early plans ahead of the 2014 CAF Champions League.

Nsimbe said that after coming close to the qualification for the group stage in 2009, they want to make it next year.

“We cannot achieve that unless we start early preparations,” said Nsimbe.

The coach said although working hard to defend the league title is one of their targets this season, the Champions League is their major target

“We have started four months in advance to plan and prepare for the Champions League and I believe this will help us achieve,” added Nsimbe.

In 2009 KCCA FC under Nsimbe lost to Nigeria’s Bayelsa Utd in the CAF Confederation Cup in the round of 16. KCCA won the first leg 3-1, but lost 4-0 in the second leg.
