Kampala City Council overcame Rwenzori group FUFA Big league club, Ndejje University 0-3 away at the water logged ground in Luwero during a round of 16 Uganda Cup match played on Saturday.

Midfielder Owen Kasule scored a brace before William Wadri ensured that the reigning league champions book a berth to the last 8 teams of the tournament that has been played since 1971.

At Kajjansi along Entebbe road, hosts Lweza returned to their Uganda Clays ground where they secured a slot to the elite league by defeating another Rwenzori group Big league club, CRO.

Left back, Farouk Musisi and Rajab Kakooza scored for Lweza in a fixture that was delayed after the match officials had to ensure there was enough security.

KCC and Lweza join the other six teams, SC Villa, Police FC, Kyambogo, BUL, Bright Stars and SCVU that have already booked their places in the last eight.

The Draw for the quarter finals will be held on the Wednesday of 1st April 2015 at FUFA House in Mengo during the weekly press conference.
