Uganda Cranes fell 1-0 to Zambia Chipolopolo Stars on Tuesday during the international build up match at Mandela National Stadium in Kampala.
Chisamba Lungu scored the lone goal on the day in the first half of the well balanced game handed by FIFA Referee Dennis Batte.
Uganda Cranes created several goal scoring opportunities with great positional awareness at the back line, two signs that spell hope of an improved performance come Saturday.
There were debuts to Shafiq Batambuze and Shaban Muhammed, marking a start of the long trek in their otherwise promising careers.
The match was watched by the FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo, State minister of sports, Hon. Charles Bakabulindi,FUFA secretariat staff and a few passionate fans.
