Bebe Cool, Goodlyfe Shun Club Music Video Awards
Bebe Cool, Radio and Weasel never appeared the Club Music Video Awards that were at UMA main hall of friday
As the first ever club music Video awards in Uganda, Big names in the Ugandan music industry were expected to grace the occasion but our surprise, few turned up for the event.
The event that was successfully held on Friday September 20 saw artists like Navio, GNL Zamba, Amaru and many more walk home with awards.
Although Bebe Cool, Weasel and Radio were nominated, they never surfaced on the day of the awards and the reasons for failing to grace the awards are still unknown.
It was a shame upon Weasel and Radio when they won the Best Duo or Group award and no was there to receive it. A fan received the award on their behalf.
This is not the first time artists are shunning the local based music awards.
It is on record that artists like Jose Chameleone have been dodging the previous Pearl of Africa Music awards even when they are nominated.
