Bon Jovi’s daughter suffers heroin overdose

The 19-year-old daughter of rock star Jon Bon Jovi was taken to hospital after a suspected heroin overdose in her college dormitory.
Stephanie Bongiovi was found unresponsive in her room at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York, and is recovering in hospital.
Police said an ambulance was sent to the college at 2 am and heroin and marijuana were found in the dorm room during a search.
Bongiovi was later charged with possession of heroin, marijuana possession and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
Ian S Grant, 21, a student who was in the same room as Bongiovi, was also charged with possession of heroin.
They will both appear in court a later date.
Bongiovi is the oldest of four children of Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea Hurley, and is their only daughter.
