His first tweet was “Habari” a Swahili word for ‘how are you’ while his brother in law Edwin Karugire is the person he followed. If you have not observed yet, the first son Brig Muhoozi Kainerugaba has joined the Twitter fraternity,Monday.
Brig Kainerugaba is the commanding officer of the Special Forces Command, an elite military unit that guards the First Family and sensitive installations in the country.
The elite unit’s spokesperson, Maj Chris Magezi tells media that, “Brig Muhoozi will be using the handle, @mkainerugaba to keep in line with the new trends in modern information communications technology age.”
Muhoozi’s new Twitter account comes just a few months after President Museveni embraced the micro-blogging site.
“It is true our commander has now joined Twitter. He will use the account to communicate messages to the public and also comment on topics of his choice,” affirmed Magezi.
Muhoozi’s new account has already attracted 122 followers while likable solider got welcomed by many tweeps.
