CRIME: Police Hunt For Assailants Who Murdered 2 Kayunga Security Guards

The Police at Kangulumira in Kayunga District are hunting for unknown assailants who attacked and killed two watchmen on Thursday night.

The incident happened at Namusisi parking yard in Nakirubi -Kirombe Zone, Seta Nyize Parish, Kangulumira county Kayunga district.

Ssezibwa Regional Police spokesperson, Helen Butoto, told our reporter that during the Night of 23 June 2022 at unknown time at Namusisi parking yard, two watchmen; Asiku Bioja and Ondoma Ali were attacked by unknown people who Inflicted several deep cuts on their heads resulting to over bleeding hence Death.

‘’Two motorcycles Reg UEX 733D and UFF 616L all Bajaj boxers were taken by the Assailants .The deceased persons died of over bleeding due to multiple deep cuts on their heads Inflicted by the Assailants’’,Butoto said.

Bodies of the deceased were taken for postermotern as investigations into the matter goes on.

Police asked anybody with information pertaining to the same that can lead police to apprehend the assailants can volunteer it so that they are brought to book.

Local leaders have also been encouraged to exercise increased vigilance in their communities owing to the on-going criminality in the area.
