Gen Muhoozi Urges Ugandans To Avoid Electing Corrupt Leaders, Vows to Introduce Modern Skilling's to Ghetto Youth in Masaka

THE chairman of Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) Gen Muhoozi Kahinerugaba has urged all Ugandan’s more especially locals from greater masaka not to waste their time and elect corrupt leaders and they must elect those ones who will work together and help Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa to develop the country than those who want to divert government money to their personnel interests.

Gen Muhoozi Kahinerugaba made his remarks at Masaka liberation square during the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) BARAZA in greater masaka which was organized to find out some of the problems affecting this region and also teach them the key points why PLU was introduced in Uganda.

Gen Muhoozi also asked Ugandan’s to elect people who will serve the interests of Ugandan not for foreign interests because most of the foreigners have their agendas which will not help Ugandans to develop.

Gen Muhoozi says that PLU was introduced to encourage Ugandan’s to fight corruption and abuse of public offices and the civil servants which give a bad picture to the government because some take away resources that were supposed to develop the country and this is one of the major problems affecting the country.

He asked all Ugandan’s to join hands and expose all corrupt officials so that the government can be able to eliminate such people in those office and locals promised Muhoozi that they know those people and very soon they are going to squeeze their balls and boobs because they have done a lot to tarnish government name.

Muhoozi thanked the president of Republic of Uganda Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa for organizing farmers in nine district in Kisozi and helped them to get some Agricultural inputs and now are good commercial farmers and also gave two examples of prominent farmers include Rev David Mugenyi who harvest one hundred forty bags of coffee(140) per year which give him one hundred,one million shillings per year from his twenty acres of land and another farmer James Kalaga who received mango seedlings from president Museveni’s initiative and now receive fifty six million shillings per year and means farming is among the things which can help Ugandans to get out of poverty.

Rogers Buregeya the masaka city youth Councillor and who commanded the Ghetto youth from Kitaka zone,Nakayiba khow as “Benghazi” and he was the overall in charge to convert the NUP section to join PLU and welcomed Gen Muhoozi Kahinerugaba plus his team in all streets of masaka and appealed to him to introduce Skilling’s in masaka ghetto area so that those ones who are involving themselves in dubious activities can be liberated.

Muhoozi when he was answering Rogers Bulegeya’s appeal told the gathering the young people from Mechanic’s activities and those ones from ghetto are going to be helped at all cost and remembered them that even those youth from Kampala Gen Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa has supported them with skills and capital and promised also this case to be brought to masaka so that they can benefit.

Margret Nasolo one of the senior NRM cadre,PLU from Mutukula,Kyotera and other areas asked Ugandan’s to continue supporting NRM government because a lot of things have been done compared to other regimes and when you move around the country roads are in good condition, free Education at all levels have been introduced, Health sector,Development projects like OWC,UWEP,YLP, PDM which have contributed much to eradicate Ugandan’s from poverty.

Muhoozi told the gathering that the NRM government delivered Masaka city six billion shillings(6bn) to re-develop masaka recreation ground with the purpose of developing people’s talents and asked officials responsible to start that work immediately so that Ugandan’s can enjoy their country.

Muhoozi told cattle keepers that the government is doing all the best to get vaccines to treat all animals attacked by F.M.D in areas of Sembabule,Kyotera , Rakai , other districts and very soon the government is expecting millions of dozens of vaccines that will cavinate those animals so that calantine can be removed.

He thanked the organizing committee who have organized this function and mobilized locals to come in big number where they passed up to masaka liberation square and PLU was introduced introduced to assist the poor people in the community, fight corruption, patriotism (love their country),empowers citizens to achieve development and PLU does not involve in sectarianism and many others which may hinders Ugandan’s to develop.

Gen Muhoozi Kahinerugaba thanked for the gifts they have given him and his team and this means a lot to African culture and in BANYANKOLE culture it’s “EMANO” it’s gift enchanted between close friends and patriotic League of Uganda is the civic organisation that is supposed to mobilize Ugandan’s to fulfill their patriotic duties and mobilize them to love their country, to be good citizens,to the spirit of Nation service, protect Ugandan from foreign interference and foreign denominations.

The function was graced by Brig Joseph Ssemwanga, District khadh masaka sheikh Sulait Ssentongo, Hajat Brovad ,tycoon John Batesita Kalungu traders, RDC Rakai who doubles the women representative PLU greater masaka Sarah Kiyimba ,Chairman business community Eng Benon Mugarura, senior presidential advisor Ruth Katushabe officials from central government and mengo government.
