Kampala Capital City Authority FC put their best foot forward beating hosts APR 1-0 in the final group games to top pool B on Sunday night as focus now shifts to the quarter finals that begins on Tuesday.
Substitute Steven Bengo banged in the most important goal for his side so far in the second half to set a date with Atlabara of South Sudan in the quarters.
As a result of the defeat, APR will now contend with a runners up position but still holds the chance of sailing to the semis should they see off their fellow Rwandese opponents.
George Nsimbe’s men will face off against South Sudan’s Atlabara FC in the last eight of the competition.
