India’s Ambassador Officiates at the Kampala Power Expo, Gold Star Batteries Hailed for Innovation , High Technology 

Battery distributors from Uganda and the entire East African region have commended Gold Star Battery (U) Limited, a battery manufacturer company for producing and delivering high-quality, reliable, and sustainable energy storage solutions.

This was during the 2nd Edition of Power & Elec Uganda, is the Largest Power, Energy, Electrical, Electronics, Renewable and Telecommunications International Exhibition in Uganda which started Thursday 11 – 13 July, 2024 at the UMA Show Grounds, Kampala, Uganda and was officiated by High Commissioner of India to Uganda, Upender Singh Rawat.

Speaking to exhibitors at UMA in Kampala on Thursday, Robin Pandey, a distributor from Pranisha Trading Co. Ltd said Gold Star batteries are affordable and reliable which offer sellers a huge market base and trust from customers.

‘’We are here because we wanted to showcase the good products we have and also to see more clients because the people and organizations that have purchased these batteries have always commended us for distributing quality products. That’s why we therefore wanted to extend these quality products to other people since this expo is being attended by various stakeholders from all over the world’’, said Pandey.

Distributors say at Goldstar which has a factory at Njeru in  Buikwe , they produce and deliver high-quality, reliable, and sustainable energy storage solutions that power a cleaner and more sustainable future. Gold Star Battery (U) Limited is known for manufacturing high quality Valve Regulated Lead-Acid battery (VRLA) Battery for UPS & Solar application which is commonly used in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and solar applications. These batteries are designed to provide reliable and maintenance-free power backup. They also manufacture Maintenance-Free (MF) batteries, which are lead-acid battery commonly used in solar applications; and motorcycle batteries which are specialized type of batteries designed specifically for motorcycles and powersport vehicles.

The event is hosting Power & Elec Professionals, Importers & Exporters, Wholesalers and Decision Makers of the East African Region in Uganda. Exhibitors from around eight countries are participating in this exhibition looking to explore the untapped potential of the East Africa Market.

Led by the Ministry of Energy & Mineral Development along with UNREEEA, it’s one of the major conferences held in its sector in Uganda with presence of key decision makers.

Many of These Resources Are Yet Untapped. There Is a Steady Increase in Demand of Commodities in The Power & Electricity Segment in Uganda Which Is Indicative of the Growing Market.
