On Friday 12th during the start of his HIV awareness campaign in schools, Tooro’s Omukama Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru  revealed that he will soon launch an anti-HIV programme to fight the spread of the disease in the kingdom.

The king visited Kyebambe Girls School, Kahinju SS, King of Kings College, Uganda Pentecostal University and Mountains of the Moon University where he encouraged the youth to fight the spread of the disease.

While addressing Uganda Pentecostal University (UPU) students, King Oyo told students to put to good use the bursaries given to them.

UPU vice-chancellor John Ntambirweki appreciated the good will shown by the kingdom By allowing the university to conduct lectures in Muchwa Complex and for providing bursaries to needy students in various faculties.
