Four students have been recognized by Madhvani Foundation for excellent performance this year as over 100 students under its scholarship scheme are set to graduate from their respective universities this year Aloysious Kasoma reports.

MadvaniThe students who received certificates from the foundation offices in Bugoloobi on 21 November include Twinomugisha Fred from Kyambogo university, Acana Miriam and Mugisha Faridah from UCU and Akankwasa Arthur from Makerere University.

The Chairman Madhvani Group Scholarship Anthony Butele Logulu said, they are proud of the students who value the foundation scholarship opportunity. “When we recruit students every year, we are critical of their performance and integrity, our expectation is always to see them succeed and also perform excellently because they are tomorrow citizens of this nation,” he said.

“I want to congratulate them and also urge them to participate actively in the Madhvani Foundation Alumni Association in order to encourage the rest who come after them,” he added. According to Butele, to be legible for this scholarship the student must prove that he or she is coming from a poor family and must be enrolling science courses and the foundation comes in after a year at the university.
