Veteran SC Villa and former Uganda Cranes midfielder Hakim Magumba scored the solitary goal to earn Villa maximum points against Proline at Nakivubo in one of Friday’s several 2013/2014 FUFA Super League games.
Villa, Uganda’s most decorated club with 16 championships are now on four points after their opening day 1-1 draw with defending champions Kampala City Council (KCC)a week ago.

SC Victoria University who missed star defenders players Dennis Iguma and Savio Kabugo, who are away with the national team in Botswana, thumped visiting Masaka LC 3-1 at Namboole with new signing Simon Okwi netting a brace and Yasser Mugerwa getting the other goal while Livingstone Lugemwa scored for Masaka.
Former Masaka forward Hussein Mayanja also helped new comers Bright Stars snatch a vailable 1-0 victory against fellow rookies CRO in Mbale.
Elsewhere, Lugogo based KCC and former winners URA registered positive results as the FUFA Super League resumed on Friday.
KCC were 2-0 winners over Police with William Wadri and Tom Masiko getting the goals. At Lugazi, Augustine Nsumba and Moses Feni struck as URA got the better of Express with a 2-0 victory.
