Brian Majwega, another player who had a bad day on the pitch Uganda lost to Guinea on Wednesday is contemplating a week away from the home club KCCA FC in order to avoid the angry reactions from Cranes fans.
“He is scared of being booed or even hurt by the angry fans,” our source at Lugogo reveals.
“Majwega and some other players all decided it best if they don’t show up in public for the time being. That’s they even dodged the dinner organised by Airtel on Friday.”
Andrew Mwesigwa is also concerned following reports that angry football fans attacked his home in Nansana.
The West Africans won 2-0 to qualify at the expense of Uganda Cranes who needed only a draw to break the 37 year old jinx of failing to qualify. Ugandan Fans however blamed the loss on Mwesigwa’s defensive error which led to his dismissal.
