A saying by an American author Kenneth Hartley Blanchard that “None of us is as smart as all of us”,is a true reflection that Nuwagira Michael Toyota alias Chairman, believes in team work and is endowed with good mobilisation skills.
As you read this , ‘Chairman’s team continues to fish more prominent and high profile personalities who will grace the first son’s birthday gig at lugogo, the latest being the wealthiest indigenous Ugandan Charles Magezi Mbire.
Mbire is the Chairman of the Board of MTN Uganda a leading telecom outfit in the country who also served as chairman of the Uganda Securities Exchange a position he was appointed in 2010.
Mbire is also a member of the Presidential Investor Roundtable, an elite group of businesspeople who advise the President of Uganda on how to improve business competitiveness and business conditions in the country.
While handing over the invitation card to the business mogul, Jacquie Namuyonga, the general secretary of the organising committee( Team Chairman MK Project ) thanked him for embracing the Chairman’s efforts and accepting to attend the colourful gig.
‘’We are grateful to hand over this invitation to you for the 48th birthday celebrations of Gen.Muhoozi Kainerugaba. Thank you sir for honouring this invitation’’,twinkled Namuyonga, who from last week is reaching out to guests.
Gen.Muhoozi, whose birthday will happen on the 24th of April 2022 will be preceded with a bash on the 23rd at Lugogo courtesy of Toyota (Chairman).
A number of prominent faces and celebrities have so far been invited for this birthday bash such as Bad Black, Dr Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool, Balaam Barugahara among others figures from various sectors.
It is suspected that Kenyan and Rwandan Presidents will also grace the birthday celebrations , a matter we are yet to confirm
Who is Charles Mbiire?
Charles Mbire is a businessman, entrepreneur, and industrialist in Uganda. He was born in 1959 to Ponsiano Mbire and Thereza Mbire in Mparo, Rukiga District, western Uganda.
He attended Kabale Primary School and Kitante Primary School for his elementary education. He studied at St. Mary’s College Kisubi for his O-Level education. He then attended Namasagali College for his A-Level studies.He studied business and economics and graduated with the honors degree of Bachelor of Science, from Essex University in England.
He went on to obtain a Master of Business Administration from Leicester University, also in the United Kingdom.
His investments are in telecommunications, finance, energy, real estate, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, and transportation.
