If word circulating in Uganda’s music industry is anything to go by, then popular musician Musigazi Abdul Aziz aka Vyroota could soon ink a management deal with Mosh Ents, a music label owned by silent Ugandan promoter Lule Hassan in partnership with UK based booking agent Mosh Alim.

Reports coming in indicate that Lule Hassan, the director of Mosh Ents, is reportedly in talks with Vyroota, in a bid to convince him to join the label. We hear Lule is promising to efficiently handle all music-related business for Vyroota if the deal materialises, which will include bookings, recordings, video shoots, promotion, plus catering for his welfare.

Sources close to Vyroota reveal that as part of the deal, Lule is promising to roll out an intense promotion campaign for the singer’s career so that they can prepare to relaunch his brand with a new album and a maiden concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval, slated to be held early next year.

As such, the sources intimate that talks between the singer and Mosh Ents are likely to have been concluded, and soon Vyroota will be traversing Europe to perform at shows organised by Mosh Ents.

This is because Lule is working along with top Europe-based promoters in a bid to bring Vyroota to the limelight under Mosh Ents, the same move the label used to promote singer Grenade Official by enabling him to scoop some tours in Europe, which helped to fast-track his music career.

It should be noted that Mosh Ents was launched on the Ugandan music scene two years ago with plans of boosting the careers of Ugandan musicians, an objective they are already fulfilling.

They launched by unveiling some artistes signed under the label, among them Rony Ronio, Lord Sanie, Pesh Melon and Grenade Official, who are all performing well both on the Ugandan music scene and internationally.

It is, however, rumoured that Lule also held talks with female singers Pia Pounds, Kapa Cat, Kataleya and Kandle for management deals, although it seems these talks are yet to yield positive results.
