NRM Boss Mukula ,other Party Leaders receive Communist Party of China Delegation
A group of ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party leaders headed by the vice chairperson Eastern, Flt. Captain Mike Mulula welcomed a high-powered delegation from the Communist Party of China this evening, following their arrival at Entebbe International Airport.
The delegation from China was led by Mr. Li Mingxiang, the Vice Minister for the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC).
The Nationa Resistance Movement (NRM) party was represented by Hon. Capt. Mike Mukula, Vice Chairman for the Eastern region, Amb. Barbara Nekesa, National Treasurer, Counsel Awich Pollar, the Director for External Affairs, and Mr. Rogers Mulindwa, Senior Manager for Communications.
During their visit to the country, the CPC delegation is expected to tour the ruling party offices and meet with several government officials.
In his address to the CPC leaders, Captain Mukula commended the Chinese government for the good fraternal relations between the two countries.
“We appreciate the continued strengthening of the partnership and friendship between Uganda and China. We look forward to working together to foster development,” – Mukula said.
Founded in 1951, International Liaison Department of the Communist Party of China (IDCPC) better known as the International Liaison Department, is an agency under the Central Committee of the Chinese Communists and is well-known as the Party in charge of establishing and maintaining relations with foreign political parties.
