Parliament Pays Tribute to Fallen Nsubuga

The parliament of Uganda has today paid tribute to former MP for Bukoto South, Mathias Nsubuga who passed away on Sunday.

Nsubuga suffered a massive stroke on Friday and was admitted at Case Clinic in Kampala, where he died as doctors tried their level best.

Nsubuga who was the Secretary General of Democratic Party also served as the Member of Parliament in the 8th and 9th parliament.

He was described by many including president Museveni that he was clean hearted, open and believed in dialogue.

Hon Nsubuga’s body was received by Speaker Rebecca Kadaga among other MPs and NRM Secretary General Kasule Lumumba.

Among other things, Nsubuga is remembered for leading a team of opposition delegates to state house in July this year to meet president Museveni over various political reforms.
