Police sends ‘deadly’ Baguma for Training
Despite the Director of Public Prosecution’s directive to parade deadly Aron Baguma before court, the Uganda police force has sent him for further training.
Aaron Baguma is the former Kampala Central Police Station commander and he is accused of playing a big role in the murder of City Business woman Ms Donah Katushabe.
Late last month, DPP, Mike Chibita gave police a two-week ultimatum to produce the controversial Baguma to be charged with murder.
This came a week after the Makindye court produced a warrant that required IGP kale Kayira and six other officers in which Baguma was inclusive to appear in court on 10th August, 2016 to answer charges of brutality.
According to deputy police spokesperson, Ms Polly Namaye, Baguma received instructions from the IGP last week ordering him to go for training at Bwebajja where he will spend six months.
