Rugby Cranes Win 2015 Elgon Cup

FINAL SCORE: Uganda 30-25 Kenya (Agg: 47-45)
Uganda Rugby cranes claimed the 2015 Elgon Cup after edging Kenya on Saturday with a 30-25 score at Legends Rugby grounds in Kampala.
Having lost 20-17 in Nairobi during their first leg tie, Uganda needed only a 4 points difference against Kenya to lift the Elgon Cup.
Uganda opened the scores with a drop kick by Chris Lubanga to lead 03-00 but the visitors managed to close the gap with Kennedy Andola’s penalty that leveled the two sides.
Kenya closed out 06-18 having made two quick tries as the half closed.
New Cranes boss and South African born John Duncan was the happiest as he witnessed his boys reversing a 3 year drought spell without clinching to the Elgon Cup silverware.
